NaNoWriMo Day 11

Daily Snippets #11, November 11, 2015 Great advice from our furry friend, Chewbacca. Write on. The day wouldn't be complete without "you know you're a writer when..." and Writer Leopard.

NaNoWriMo Day 10

Daily Snippets #10, November 10, 2015 Writer Leopard nailed it. This always happens to me. Most of my novels have sprung out of, what I like to call, "epic dreams." They play out like a movie. Sometimes I find the words to translate , other times I just write a snippet in a dream journal for later. Words are like flowing water. Sometimes it flows freely and sometimes there's a clog. If you have a clog, now is not the time to use the plunger. Turn off the water and wait awhile. Sometimes the clog works its way out. Sometimes you need to move to another sink. Just keep the words flowing. As long as there is movement it won't become stagnant.   You know you're writer when...

NaNoWriMo Day 9

Daily Snippets #9, November 9, 2015 It's day nine. How are you feeling about your story now? Has a new character become a favorite or has one taken over and did something unexpected. I love it when they write themselves. Maybe it's the wine or maybe it's my subconscious working its way out, who knows?  I laughed when I found the Monty Python meme. However, I won't be watching Holy Grail until after November is over.

NaNoWriMo Day 8

Daily Snippets #8. November 8, 2015 I write romance and the last two books I've written have been contemporary western romance. This year's Nanowrimo novel is the third in the series. I love cowboys and the west. I love snowcapped mountains, rock formations and wide open spaces. In this snippet I have western quotes and pictures and, of course, "You know you're a writer when..." and Writer Leopard. Enjoy!

NaNoWriMo Day 7

Daily Snippets #7, November 7, 2015   Today is Double-Up donation day at NaNoWriMo. It’s an opportunity for the entire community to come together to write, inspire one another, and support the nonprofit programs. Consider donating. http://nanowrimo.org/donation-day    Support a non-profit, please. RochelleBradley  Enough about money. Let's smile. You know your a writer when... Not only does NaNo want to double donations today, they want writers to double their daily word count. How are you doing? You can see my progress on the sidebar. Hopefully, I am right on par.

NaNoWriMo Day 6

Image
Daily Snippets #, November 6, 2015  This post is to encourage fanfic writers. I personally know two published authors who started their writing career by sharing their fanfic short stories on websites with other fans. They collected followers and found an outlet for their passion, eventually leading them to bigger and better things. Keep those ideas coming.   You know you're a writer when... and Writer Leopard. You're not alone. Check the forums, crash a write in, challenge someone in a word war or visit a blog. Interact. Get out or stay in, but connect. Never feel like you are alone.
